BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel just SHREDDED Donald Trump in an EPIC 25-minute opening monologue after ABC caved and brought him back on the air. Kimmel did NOT hold back — and it was BRUTAL. Here are the highlights:

After weeks of being silenced at Trump’s demand, Kimmel came back swinging — torching Trump, his FCC cronies, and the authoritarian playbook they’re using to strangle free speech in America.

Right out of the gate, Kimmel mocked Trump’s FCC lapdog Brendan Carr, who has been openly threatening networks that carry the show. Kimmel scorched him:

“Brendan Carr is the most embarrassing car Republicans have embraced since this one. And that’s saying something.”

Kimmel reminded America that back in 2022, Carr himself wrote: “Political satire is one of the oldest and most important forms of free speech. It challenges those in power while using humor to draw people into the discussion. That’s why those in power always target it for censorship.”

Then Kimmel dropped the hammer: “So what happened to THAT guy? Now he’s Trump’s hitman, threatening networks on podcasts like some wannabe mob boss. That’s not legal. That’s not American. That is UNAMERICAN and it is SO dangerous.”

And then came Trump. Kimmel didn’t mince words:

“The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from our jobs. Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can’t take a joke. He was somehow able to squeeze Colbert out of CBS. Then he turned his sights on me and now he’s openly rooting for NBC to fire Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers and the hundreds of Americans who work for their shows who don’t make millions of dollars.”

Kimmel then reminded viewers what’s at stake:

“If we don’t have free speech, then we just don’t have a free country. It’s as simple as that. If this most fundamental right is allowed to perish, then the rest of our rights and liberties will topple just like dominoes. One by one, they’ll go down.”

Kimmel also addressed his critics, making clear he never intended to make light of Charlie Kirk’s murder, saying: “I don’t think there’s anything funny about it. I posted a message the day it happened, sending love to his family and asking for compassion, and I meant it. This was a sick individual who believed violence was the answer. It isn’t. Ever.”

But he pivoted quickly back to politics, blasting Trump’s war on journalists:

“This isn’t just about comedy. He’s gunning for our journalists too. He’s suing them, hes bullying them, and now his Fox friend Pete Hegseth announced a new policy that requires journalists with Pentagon clearance to sign pledges promising not to report information that hasn’t been explicitly ‘authorized for release.’ That includes UNCLASSIFIED information! They want to pick and choose what the news is. I know that’s not as interesting as muzzling a comedian, but it’s SO important to have a free press, and it’s nuts that we aren’t paying more attention to it.”

Kimmel then drew a line in the sand:

“Look, I barely paid attention in school. But what I DID learn from Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, and Howard Stern is this: when the government tries to silence a comedian the president doesn’t like, it’s ANTI-AMERICAN. It is the very opposite of what this country stands for.”

To close with a bit of humor, Kimmel also torched Trump’s bizarre UN rant today, noting how he “ranted about windmills… threatened the guy who operates the teleprompter… [and] complained about being screwed out of a deal to renovate the building they were in — the United Nations building. He said, ‘You could have had marble. You got terrazzo. You could have had mahogany. You got plastic instead.’” Kimmel joked that “five translators had to be hospitalized for confusion.” 😂

But nothing topped Kimmel’s merciless mocking of the press conference where Trump stood with RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz and declared: “With Tylenol, don’t take it. Don’t take it.” Kimmel quipped: “Follow the advice of Donald Trump and you too can look like a glazed ham with deep vein thrombosis.” 😂

Jimmy Kimmel just gave the most powerful defense of free speech in years — and he did it by tearing Donald Trump and his cronies to shreds on national television.

Trump can’t take a joke. He can’t take criticism. He can’t take the truth. And that’s why America must keep laughing — and fighting.

Please like and SHARE, especially for those who live in areas where Kimmel’s show — and this monologue — were CENSORED by MAGA networks like Sinclair
